2nd Annual Las Vegas in Leominster

November 3, 2018

Eagles Hall 456 Litchfield St, Leominster, MA 01453

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came out to support the Hillary A. (Bartlett) Newsome Foundations’ 2nd annual Las Vegas in Leominster fundraising event, held this year on November 3, 2018. It’s always heartwarming to see how many people Hillary touched through her work with autistic children and children in need.

The Hillary A. (Bartlett) Newsome Foundation aims to provide long-term financial assistance to children and their families who are affected by Autism, special needs, and life-threatening illnesses to enhance their quality of life by inspiring friends of the foundation to help us make a difference.

The proceeds from our 2nd Annual Las Vegas in Leominster event will help us to provide LoJack SafetyNet bracelets for children with autism and this, in turn, will provide a direct link to agencies who can provide active protection and peace of mind for many parents.

We are very grateful for the generosity of so many, who support our cause and mission in memory of Hillary Bartlett Newsome.

Samoset School Food Drive!

November 15, 2018 thru December 7, 2018

Samoset School, Leominster, MA 01453

Samoset School works with the HABNF to help those in need this holiday season!

As a former Wildcat, Hillary exhibited all of the characteristics of our Wildcat’s C.A.R.E motto.  She dedicated her life to working with young children with autism and special needs.  Her zest for life was contagious and it showed in her work with the many lives she touched while teaching and tutoring children.  Hillary’s passion and commitment during her lifetime has driven us to take part in helping this foundation’s cause while carrying on the memory of one of our own.  Please show that you are a Wildcat that C.A.R.Es and bring in a non-perishable food item or monetary donation to help out our community in need.

The Samoset School's 6th, 7th and 8th grade homeroom classrooms are participating in a contest in which the homeroom that brings in the most donations will win a pizza party hosted by the HABNF. The food donations from Samoset will be donated to the MWCC Food for Thought food pantry, which serves students at Mount Wachusett Community College. They advise that 2 out of 3 community college students are food insecure. MWCC has a place in our heart, as this is where Hillary attended college.
